I still find myself writing complicated sentences. It drives me nuts. I studied English literature at university, and English papers are some of the worst offenders when it comes to technical jargon and run-on sentences.

Thanks to Sugarman, Halbert, Strunk & White, Zinsser, and many others, I've been able to make the shift to simple writing.
